Now almost a decade later and Australia has one of the best energy affordability market in the world. Our mostly Coal generated power has shifted to an almost 50% of all power generated in Australia is from a renewable source. It’s clear to us that the shift to renewables is not only the right move for the environment but a fairer way for Aussie families. We were struggling. After working hard for almost two decades making money for Australia’s leading energy retailers, we were disillusioned. We were seeing news headline after news headline about climate change and the devastating effects on our planet. Yet at the same time we, and a lot of our friends and family were weighing up what bills we could and couldn’t cover due to rising energy costs. In the end we thought there must be a better way. That’s how Enfini started
In 2017 it is estimated more than 3 million Australians made compromises on essentials due to higher electricity bills. The same financial quarter saw record profits from Australia’s biggest energy retailers. One of which recorded a 194% profit increase from the previous year. Enfini was created as an answer to this problem. Our founders believed that everyday Australian’s deserved better.
